We will start the evening off with the awards program at 3:00 PM. This will be followed by a cocktail reception, which will wrap up around 6:30 PM, allowing our guests to head out for any dinner reservations they may have with their clients.
We will be honoring millions of work-hours performed injury-free on industrial construction and maintenance projects covered by the National Maintenance Agreements. This is a wonderful time to celebrate safety in the construction industry and a great opportunity to network with union representatives, owners and contractors under one roof.
The Hall was designed by architect John Russell Pope and is located at 1776 D Street NW, just east of the Department of the Interior, between the American Red Cross and the Organization of American States, across from the Ellipse in front of the White House.
The Hall is a Neoclassical style structure, faced with Alabama limestone and houses the largest auditorium in Washington. This auditorium is unusual with its U-shaped balcony, necessary to provide the enormous amount of seating required by the program while retaining practical sight distances.
